What about Worker’s Comp Chiropractic Insurance Coverage?

In Oregon, an injured worker can go to the doctor of their choice, without a referral. Chiropractic coverage without a referral is allowed for 18 visits or 90 days, whichever comes first. After that period, you would need a medical referral to continue chiropractic care and getting your bills paid by the insurance company. There is one exception however.

If the company you work for is in a Managed Care Organization (MCO), you may have to treat with one of their doctors to get you treatment paid for.

Insurance Summary of Chiropractic Care

No matter what you insurance coverage, taking care of yourself is primary. Your health is an “inside out job”. Chiropractic care can help many conditions according to the scientific literature in the next section. Our office provides a FREE CONSULTATION for you to find out if indeed you need chiropractic care, the costs and how long your treatment will be. If you do not need chiropractic care, you will be referred to another doctor, one that I myself would go to, or one that I would send a family member to. If need be, I will even call their office to be sure you get an appointment in a timely manner.
