Are You Prepared?
Ye Old Army Game
And the Boy Scouts Motto…

Proactive or reactive. Being prepared or waiting for something to happen. And something always happens. Just ask Mr. Murphy (You know, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong at the worst possible moment). He’s been at it a long time.

We prepare by having car insurance payments, every month. House payment, every month. Water and light payment, every month. Food bills. Every month. Gas bill, every month. Garbage bill, every month. Credit card possibly and other miscellaneous payments, every month. We eat, every day. We work, every day. We sleep, every day. And yes, we all pay taxes. Every year. All of these life things. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Routine behavior, for all of us. Very proactive behavior. Daily preparation for them. But….

This Just in
Almost daily questions

Immune system questions persist among my patients, and others. All kinds of things are being used to help with immune system problems among those not wanting to get vaccinated or boosters. Or even those who have been vaccinated or boosted or thinking about it.

My mantra to myself and family and patients is this: My opinion only, based on what I know about foods and supplements that build immunity. Avoid white flour or any refined flour for that matter. It is devoid of vitamins and minerals and enzymes, etc. Wonder Bread does not build bodies 10 different ways!! It tears you down. Avoid pasteurized milk products of any kind. They have no enzymes, and the calcium and amino acids in them are dead and actually promote weak immunity. Dr. Pottenger, M.D. proved this years ago reported in his book: Pottenger’s Cats.

Avoid fluoride and chlorine like the plague. Fluoride and chlorine in the water and bottled products poisons your thyroid gland and colon. Both by paralyzing your thyroid from making its hormones that promote proper calcium metabolism (Our Thermo-Sea from West Coast feeds your thyroid with iodine first and other minerals). Cal Mag from Nutriplex feeds your white blood cells, your first line of defense against “bugs” that mutate in your body if your blood ph is off. It should be 7.35-7.45.

Dr. Jarvis’ book, Folk Medicine (ask for a free copy if I have them) showed that a couple teaspoons of raw apple cider vinegar in a glass of water at each meal can help keep your digestion and immune system strong. Add honey and it is a natural antibiotic.

Page 191 in Folk Medicine Dr. Jarvis says that the basic bugs in your body need an overly alkaline medium to grow and become pathogenic bacteria. I also saw this years ago working in the pathology/bacteriology lab at the hospital. So, he says we need more acid foods like fresh vegetable juices, carrots, cranberries, prunes, grapes, oranges, apples, herb teas to name a few. And fermented foods like sauerkraut (Boars Head) pickled beets, Kim chi, etc. These help build immunity.

Actual detoxification
Gotta stay on top of this one… What’s in your health equation?

Not only are we exposed to daily poisons and toxins in our food and water, but now we have to deal with the ever-present sky riders dumping their chem-trails on us. No, not con trails. Chem trails. You can look them up.

Not so happy things going on
“Skyriders”, and Chem Trails
Lucy in the sky, with diamonds??

I learned about these years ago while getting spring water from a small spigot/pipe out of a deep aquafer on Baker Creek Road. What local folks used to call “The Old Country School House” spring.

This occurred in the 1980’s when I first came to McMinnville after practicing in Italy in 1983 and 1984 as Chiropractor for the Italian Olympic Team’s Track and Field Division, which practice literally took me all over the world before the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

An older man was waiting for me to finish filling my 5-gallon plastic jugs, which I had 6 of, to take home to my family as we were out of our spring water drinking water. We got to chatting and he told me about his experience in the 2nd World War and “cloud seeding”.  Chem trails are just a modern version of cloud seeding.

My family and I are trying to protect ourselves from this onslaught with a green house from Glass-Hut Greenhouses in Eugene, a daily dose of Thermo-Sea, a couple capsules or teaspoon of Maine Coast Sea Vegetables Seaweed Support, using Sea-Mix on our garden veges, fruit trees, grapes, and other fruit trees. The Sea Mix with its kelp in it builds the plants and detoxifies them all at once. To the point that the seaweed in it will break down chemicals to the level of the periodic chart and back to mother earth as nutrients!! Providence provides.

Jason Winter’s Tea, the original herbal blend with chaparral is a daily drink first thing in the morning along with a tablespoon of Sonne’s Liquid Bentonite Clay. Remember also that Colavita Olive Oil is excellent here as well, on salads, etc. Betafood from Standard Process feeds your liver in its job of cleansing and building. Vital Defense from Nutriplex Formulas (www.wholefoodformulas.com.Referral Code: gsiegfried at checkout) has many traditional herbs used to detox and build. One or two a day is plenty. Immune Support also from Nutriplex has helped numerous patients in keeping their immune system functioning at an optimal level. And of course, as mentioned earlier, Cal Mag. Personally I won’t be without this one, having had my thyroid and immune system compromised as a kid when they were radiated. No idea why. But I

remember my dad telling me about it. Maybe I was deficient in cobalt? Radiation?  Questions? Just call me or email me. Everyone has a health equation. I’ll try and help you with yours.

And for your “gut”?
Probiotics

So much talk and marketing about your “microbiome”, best known as your intestinal flora. Bugs, if you will. Gotta keep those bugs happy and healthy so your body can absorb the minerals from your foods so your endocrine glands can make new cells so your immune system can be strong. Again, fermented foods are numero uno. Sauerkraut, pickled anything. As a kid we’d pick a pickle out of a barrel at the local deli and eat it with our sandwiches at lunch. White Mountain Yogurt in the glass bottle. Paul Bragg’s Apple Cider vinegar at mealtime. Basic foods. Cheap, nutritious, readily available foods.

Digestplex (Nutriplex), Lactic Acid Yeast and Zymex (Standard Process) are my “go to” supplements for proper probiotic/gut health. They are alive and feed your good bugs. Totally different concept than most probiotics which pump you full of many strains of bugs that may or may not be alive. All 3 of these products have been available, no adulterations, for many many years. Not your latest “breakthrough” at all.

Call Me Crazy?
Building and Cleansing

But back to our daily health? You know, just daily living. Again, are you proactive or reactive? Do you live to eat, or eat to live? Do you eat like a bird, or eat like it’s your last supper? Do you exercise daily, or do you wait for your joints to give out?

My dog Buddy, a Dachshund, stretches and shakes his back each morning when I let him out of his little pen. Do you think positive thoughts or expect the world to end tomorrow? Glass half full or half empty? Do you have friends, or family, or relatives that you cherish and keep in touch with? Dr. Jarvis, M.D., who made Apple Cider Vinegar treatment and use famous in his two books, Folk Medicine and Arthritis and Folk Medicine, said, that, unlike the animals, we humans seem to have lost many of our instincts regarding our health. And by now, you probably have some thoughts of your own on these issues. I know I do and will share with you when you ask.
